Barbara Johnson

Barbara Faye Penn Johnson, 80, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 11, 2022, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Brandenberg, KY on September 1, 1941, to John Charles Penn and Hallie Louise Richie Penn. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Penn; and a sister, Mary Smith.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Russell Johnson; her daughters, Helen Johnson Hill (Gary), Barbara Ann Dunn (Garry), and Mary Lynn Roseberry (Michael); six grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
