Jackson "Jack" Porter Langley Jr.

Jackson ‘Jack” Porters Langley Jr., 85, of Tulsa Oklahoma, passed away Monday March 15, 2021 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday March 22, 2021 at Arrington Heights Free Will Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services.

The body will lie in state 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Monday at Arrington Heights Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Langley was born December 12, 1935 in Davidson County to Jackson Porters Langley Sr. and Helen Julian House Langley. Jack enjoyed singing and playing piano in many Gospel Quartets over the years   and also used his talents playing for his church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Joe Langley, Roland Langley, and Richard Langley.

Surviving is his wife Gerrie Francis Mowery Langley of the home, two sons, Buddy Langley (Gloria) of Kernersville and Ben Langley (Olivia) of Oklahoma; one brother, David Langley (Tootie) of Lexington; one sister Becky Blackwell (Bill) of Lexington;  and 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
