William Aaron Everhart, 87, of Biesecker Road, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Carolina House.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Spruce Street Baptist Church, where he was a member, by the Revs. Terry Coates and Noah Frye. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery with military honors by Davidson County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Aaron was born in Davidson County on July 25, 1926, to David Henry Everhart and Pearlie Mae Beck Everhart. He was a retired employee of Frank Ix and Sons and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Mozelle Bowers Everhart in 1989; second wife Mary Rogers Everhart on March 19, 2014; sister Marilyn Call; and brother Lewis Everhart.
Surviving are his daughters, Norma E. Schoenberger (Fritz) of Staley, Connie E. Hagen (Robert) of Winston-Salem and Linda E. Scott of Lexington; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Dot Haywood and Rachel Cooper, both of Lexington; and brothers Joe Everhart of Lillington and Blake, Phillip and Beck Everhart, all of Lexington.
