Abby Leigh Perryman Lovelace, 49, passed away on October 22, 2026, in Lincoln County. She was born on May 27, 1977, to Glenn Perryman and the late Jacqueline Ann Mullies Perryman in Forsyth County.
Abby was a proud North Davidson High School Homecoming Queen and cheerleader who also participated in numerous beauty pageants. She had a love for life, family, and making memories with those closest to her. Some of her happiest times were spent living life by the lake, enjoying boat rides with her children, family, and dog Rosie, where they would share special moments together.
Abby often reflected about her childhood on the farm, holding those memories close to her heart, and wanted others to know just how much her childhood meant to her. Family was always an important part of her life; she shared a deep, unconditional love for her parents. Her love for her family was a constant throughout her life. Among her favorite flowers were calla lilies and sunflowers, a beautiful reminder of the small pleasures in life that she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her adored mother, Jacqueline Ann Mullies Perryman.
Abby is survived by her father, Glenn Perryman; her husband, Ron Lovelace Jr.; her son, Cole Lovelace; her daughter, Ryleigh Lovelace; her stepchildren, Morgan Lovelace, Madi Lovelace, Chase Lovelace, Lexi Lovelace, and Dylan Lovelace; her sister, Beverly Perryman Whitt; her niece, Lyndsie Whitt; and her parents in law, Ron & Judy Lovelace Sr.
A graveside service to honor Abby’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, starting at 3pm, at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Matt Rummage officiating.
A celebration of life ceremony will later take place at Olivet Baptist Church, located at 7893 Monbo Rd. Catawba, NC 28609, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, beginning at 6pm to 7pm. An Hour of remembrance will begin at 7pm, with Pastor Matt Rummage officiating both ceremonies.
