Adam Marc Miller, 36, of Deland, Florida passed away unexpectedly September 12, 2024, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Adam was born August 24, 1988, in Davidson County, NC to Alan and Tammi Miller. He was a 2006 graduate of LSHS where he played tennis but excelled at wrestling. He attended Pikeville College in Kentucky on a bowling scholarship and UNCC. After college, he moved to Florida to become a general manager of Sunshine Bowling Center, in Deland, Florida, which was his dream job. He and his younger brother had been bowling since they were five or six years old, taught by their father.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Lois Miller, Eugene and Barbara Smith, and he never got over the loss of his younger brother, Grant, in 2018.
Surviving are his loving parents, Alan and Tammi Miller, Uncle Mark Miller, Aunt Terri Smith (Randy) and numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins and he will be missed by numerous best friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Perdue officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6pm until 8pm, Friday, September 20, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
