Addie Lorena Cook

Addie “Winnie” Lorena Cook, age 72 of Frye Bridge Road, Clemmons passed away Sunday at her home. A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm Friday (2-20-2009), at her home 197 Frye Bridge Road with Rev. Richard Martin officiating. Addie was born in Forsyth County, April 19, 1936 to Lawrence Drewery Williams and Margaret Elizabeth Winfield Williams. She was a retired employee of AT &T Winston Salem, and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, And husbands Charles Rick Scott and James Cook. Surviving are: one son, Greg Scott of Clemmons; one sister, Clara W. Farmer of Clemmons; and one brother, Arnold Gray Williams of Plano, Texas. There will be no visitation. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
