Alan Keith Casey (February 27, 1959 – October 5, 2025)

Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend

Alan, 66, graduated to glory on October 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and a life lived with purpose and heart. Born on February 27, 1959, to Dorothy and Harold Casey, and the beloved younger brother of Garry Casey and the late Paulette Wood.

A proud and dedicated truck driver, Alan built a lifelong career behind the wheel, logging over one million miles without a single accident. Outside of work, Alan had a lifelong passion for all things with wheels and engines. Alan was deeply devoted to Chevrolet, especially Camaros, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. His love for hot rods was more than a hobby, it was a way of life. There was hardly a day you wouldn’t catch him in a pair of his favorite shorts and Harley shirt. Whether it was the roar of a big-block or the rumble of a bike; Alan found joy, peace, and purpose on the open road and under the hood.

Alan’s interests stretched far beyond the garage though. He was fascinated by planes and trains, often spending his evenings following train yards across the country or watching the latest episode of air disasters. In his later years, he found peace in fishing and the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted brother, Garry Casey and wife Lou Ann; his cherished niece and nephew, Crystal O’Dell and husband Gary and William Wood and wife Sara; and his beloved great-nieces and nephew, Zackary Marshall, Madelyn Wood Horay and husband Troy, and Samantha Wood, along with his great-great nephew, Aidden Horay. Each of them carries a piece of Alan’s heart and the lessons he shared through his love and passions.

Those who knew Alan will remember him as a man with a heart of gold and a man who would give you the shirt off his back or last dollar in his pocket if he thought it would help. His laughter, generosity and gentle spirit touched everyone he met. His life was a true reflection of humility, hard work and Christian love.

Alan’s earthly journey has come to an end, but his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We find comfort in knowing he is now resting in eternal peace, reunited with family and friends who have gone before him, and held in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord" Matthew 25:23
