Alan Kirby Elders

Alan Kirby Elders, 48, of Branch Road, died Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2008, at his residence. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beck's Lutheran Church. Mr. Elders was born May 7, 1959, in Davidson County to Foy Kirby Elders and Edna Woodruff Elders. He was an auto mechanic for Riverside Auto. Surviving are his mother of Lexington; one daughter, Amanda Joy Elders of Lexington; a brother, Randy Keith Elders of Lexington; sisters Sherrie Elders Garrison, Teresa Ann Elders and Sandra Elders Leonard, all of Lexington; a niece, Alicia Faith Lones, and a great-niece, Destiny Faith Lones, both of Lexington. Visitation will be in the church parlor from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Beck's Lutheran Church, 441 Beck's Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292 in memory of Alan Elders.
