Alan Kiff Greer

Alan Kiff Greer, age 57 of Lee Parks Road, Lexington passed away at his home Thursday evening, October 5, 2017. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday October 9, 2017 at Grace Missionary Alliance Church with Revs. Richard Barker and Richard Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 Pm Sunday evening and at other times at the home of his son. Alan was born in Davidson County July 18, 1960 to Donald “Buddy” Greer and Bonnie Craver Greer. Alan was a truck driver for Eco-Energy and owned Triad Bait Company. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed taking his grandkids fishing and others that wanted to go. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Craver Greer. Surviving are his wife, Fran Perry Greer; daughter, Erica Greer of Orlando, Florida; son, Alex Greer (Georgina) of Lexington; grandchildren, Kiff, Huxley, Paden, Bryson and Kinsey; his father Buddy Greer of Lexington; sister, Tammy Grubb (Gary) of Lexington and close family friends, Patrick and Tina Mullen.
