Albert Edward Williams, 79, of Davidson County, passed away on February 12, 2026.
Born on January 6, 1947, in Fayette County, PA, Albert was the son of the late Irving Nicholas Williams and Mary Elizabeth Moser Williams. He was one of eleven children, growing up in a large and loving family that shaped his lifelong appreciation for family bonds and simple joys.
Albert was a man who found happiness in life’s quiet pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, enjoying the peace and patience. He was also a devoted fan of professional wrestling, especially NWA and WWE, rarely missing the opportunity to watch a good match. More than anything, Albert cherished time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. His loyal furry companion, Buddy, held a special place in his heart and was a constant source of comfort.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 20 years, Lula Jane Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Truman (Larry); his grandchildren, Gwen Leonard (Kody) and David Truman; and his great-grandchildren, Karter Leonard and Kennedy Leonard. He also leaves behind two siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Magnolia Gardens of Thomasville and to Charity Williams for the compassion, kindness, and care shown to Albert.
Services for Albert will be private at this time.
Albert will be remembered for his love of family, his gentle spirit, and the simple joys that brought him happiness throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
