Aleene Slaydon Hartman

Myra Aleene Slaydon Hartman, 83, of North NC Highway 150, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Pineridge Rehabilitation Center.  The funeral will be 3 pm Friday March 17, 2017  at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Watterson officating. Burial will follow in Reeds Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times  at their respective homes.  Mrs. Hartman was born September 19, 1933, in Davidson County, to William Henry Slaydon and Myrtle Creed Slaydon. She was retired from Frank Ix and Sons where she had worked as an inspector. She was a member of Reeds Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Hartman who died March 24, 2013 and her son, Randy Hartman.  Surviving are her daughter, Carol Snyder and husband Felix of Lexington; grandchildren, Felicia Ann Snyder, Zachary Daniel Hartman, and Jacob Dillon Hartman; and sister,  Kathleen Westmoreland of Thomasville. Also surviving is her daughter in law, Terri Hartman of Lexington.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
