Alfred Henry Williams, Jr. age 72 or Simerson Road, Linwood, Churchland Community passed away Tuesday night April 11, 2017 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Alfred was born in Davidson County August 20, 1944 to the late Alfred Henry Williams, Sr. and Elizabeth Swicegood Williams. He was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of Owens-Illinois. Surviving are his wife Shellia Morris Williams of the home; daughters, Kim Smith (David of Tyro, Jennifer Green of Churchland; son, Michael David Williams (Lori) of Churchland; grandchildren, Amanda Elmore, Jake Williams (Kelsea) Jeb Smith (Hailee), Mattie Smith and Frank Green; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Korbin and Reagan; sister, Carol Padon of Lexington.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
