God needed a guardian angel for someone and he chose Alice Kay Dunn Carter. Kay was 66 and lived on Rocky Knob Road in Reedy Creek. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, and other times at the home.
Mrs. Carter was born July 9, 1949, in Forsyth County, to Joseph “Joe” Dunn and Ethel James Dunn. She was a loving wife and mother with strong Christian values, and loved to help others.
Surviving are her husband, Paul Wiley “Jack” Carter of the home; daughter, Jeannie Wagner and husband Lyle of Lexington; her mother of Clemmons; and a sister, Jo Etta Daniel of Salisbury; as well as many nieces and nephews, and many good friends that she loved dearly.
