Alice Wooten Moseley, 78, of Lexington Health Care, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Lexington Health Care after a lengthy illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Darren Alexander. Burial will follow in Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Moseley was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Yadkin County to Clinton Lafette Wooten and Minnie Mitchell Wooten. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Alicia McGlumphy and her husband, Brad, of Linwood; two grandchildren, Brandon McGlumphy and Ashley McGlumphy, both of Linwood; two brothers, Chester Wooten of East Bend and Allen Wooten of Winston-Salem; and one sister, Judy Royall of Booneville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the daughter on R.L. Norris Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293.
