Alice Valley Blevins Shoun age 74 of Old US Hwy 52, Winston Salem passed away Thursday June 18, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. A Funeral Service will be 11 am Monday June 22, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Rev. Roy Cantrell and burial to follow at Westlawn Garden of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am prior to the service and at other times at the home. Alice was born June 15, 1941 in Wilkes County to Sanford Blevins and Cora Cleary Blevins. She was a homemaker and a member of Glory Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Grayson Shoun Sr. of the home. Her sons, Dennis M. Bauguess (Allison) of Pilot Mountain and Lloyd Grayson Shoun Jr. (Susan) of King. Her daughters, Anna Bauguess Tysinger (Michael) and Theresa Edwards (Billy) all of Winston Salem, Sherry Bauguess Presley (Eddie) of Arcadia and Pamela Laws (Francis) of King. Also surviving are Nine Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. Her Brothers, Henry Blevins (Bonnie) and Kelly Blevins (Jean) all of Trap Hill. A Niece, Virginia Watson of Elkin.
