Allan "Peggy" Irene Worley Robinson

Allan Irene “Peggy” Worley Robinson, 78, of Delta Street, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. David Robinson officiating. Private burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Robinson was born November 22, 1934, in Todd, NC to David Sol Worley and Mamie Greer Worley and raised by her father and stepmother, Emma Mae Kimberlin Worley. She was a former employee at Duracell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Robinson; brothers, Junior Worley, George Worley, Dick Worley and James Worley; and sisters, Dean Truell and Bill Bare. Surviving are son, Rev. David Robinson and wife, Kelly, of Lexington; daughters, Sharon Kidd and husband, Jerry, of Welcome and Donna Freeman and husband, Jack, of Lexington; grandchildren, Jermey Kidd and wife, Brenda, Brandy Smith and husband, Danny, Fielding Robinson and wife, Tiffany, Forrest Robinson, and Jordan Brock; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Preston, Allie, Tyler, Myah; great-great-grandchild, Wyatt; brother, Wayne Worley and Archie Kimberlin; and sisters, Judy Milam, Valerie Hedrick, Libby Johnson, Bobbie Winebarger, and Billie Tetter. Memorials may be made to Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church, 214 Andrew Sink Road, Lexington, NC 27295.
