Allen Walser

Robert Allen Walser, age 81 of Brookdale Assisted Living formerly of Tom Wood Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Pryor officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Saturday prior to service. Allen was born in Davidson County, March 12, 1935 to Robert Grady Walser and Elsie Leona Myers Walser. He was a retired employee of Stanley Furniture, of the Methodist Faith and a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Harrelson, Betty Lumsden and Peggy Walser; brothers, Dale, Ronald and Jerry Walser; brother-in-law, Willie Harrelson and George Dorsett; sister-in-law, Linda Walser.
