Alline Wilson Kirkus

Alline Wilson Kirkus, 76, of Hugh Miller Road, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 20, 2024, at Grace Alliance Church with Pastor Tim Higgs officiating services.

Alline was born May 15, 1947, in Davidson County to Oldon Wilson and Louise Tysinger Wilson. She loved flowers and spending time at the beach. Alline was preceded in death by her parents; her son, James William Kirkus, III; sister, Lucy Shaw; two brothers, Alvin Wilson and Buddy Wilson, and brother-in-law Gary Kirkus.

Surviving is her husband, James William Kirkus Jr., of the home; two daughters, Angie Worley, (Jeff) of Lexington, and Deborah Lipman (Todd) of Switzerland; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Amber, Gracie, Mason, Riley, Corrine, Brooke, and 3 great-grandchildren; sister Lucy Shaw; brother-in-law Danny Kirkus and wife Carolyn Kirkus; sisters-in-law Doncilla Perry, Priscilla Walser and Frances Kirkus.
