Alma "Elaine" Weaver Linville, 80, of Lea Meadow Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Center United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Clay Morgan. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Linville was born in Davidson County Dec. 23, 1925, to Rome Lee Weaver and Lettie Isabelle Leonard Weaver. She was a retired employee of Western Electric with 39 years of service and a member of the New Outlook Pioneers Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Fred Edward Weaver, John Henry Weaver and Grady Hinkle.
Surviving are one son, Gary Linville and his wife, Kaye, of Midway; two grandchildren, Shawn Linville and his wife, Pauline, and Shannon Coppley and her husband, Marshall; three great-grandchildren, Kristine Coppley, Alex Coppley and Christian Linville; two brothers, Grover Weaver and his wife, Lois, and Ray Von Weaver and his wife, Treavie, all of Welcome; two sister-in-laws, Pauline and Rachael Weaver, both of Welcome; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
