Almeta Wall Brantley

July 5, 1938 — September 5, 2025

Mrs. Almeta Wall Brantley, 87, of Lexington, NC, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center. Born July 5, 1938, in Forsyth County to Charlie Monroe and Gladys Fulp Wall, Almeta grew up in Winston-Salem and retired from AT&T in 2000.  After retirement, she enjoyed traveling around the country with Roy and friends and spending time with her family. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Welcome, NC, where she enjoyed many activities over the years, and where she leaves many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Brantley; her son Jeff White; and her sister, Marie Bennett. Left to cherish the memories are her daughter, Mrs. Tammy Marlowe and husband, Steve; a granddaughter, Stephanie McCain, and husband Matt; a grandson, Zachary Marlowe, and wife Tyra; and her newest pride and joy, a great-grandson, Tucker McCain; all of Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Sunday, September 7th, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Welcome, 404 Welcome Arcadia Road, Lexington, NC 27295. A celebration of life will follow at 3 PM with Rev. Mark Blair and Rev. Christopher Griggs officiating. A private burial will follow.
