Alvin Clarence Reagan

July 8, 1934 — August 6, 2017

Alvin Clarence Reagan, 83, of Old Linwood Road, died Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.  The funeral will be 7 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler, NC.  Mr. Reagan was born July 8, 1934, in Buncombe County, NC to Millard L. Reagan and Edith A. McCall Reagan. He was a retired truck driver with Quality Carriers and a member of New Testament Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Robinson Reagan; and a great-grandson, Trenton Scott.  Surviving are his loving wife, Lois Brickhouse Reagan of the home;  nine children; three stepchildren; 25 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and six sisters.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
