Amy Suzanne Davis Knox

Amy Suzanne Davis Knox, 58, of Lexington, NC went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Churchland Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Don Clement officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Amy was born on January 9, 1967 in Rowan County, NC to the late Olin Thales Davis III and Susan Madeline Smith Davis, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Davis and a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Davis.

During her early career, Amy was proud to work for NASA. She was a faithful and longtime member of Churchland Baptist Church in Lexington. She loved spending time outside in her yard gardening flowers and looking at the birds. Most of all, she loved making memories with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Susan Madeline Davis; brother, Olin Thales Davis IV; sister-in-law, Sandra Davis; niece, Becky (Daniel) Peele, nephews, Chris Davis and Will Davis; great-nephew, Jonah Peele, and numerous extended family members who will all miss her dearly.
