Amy Shaffer

Amy N. Shaffer, 84, of Linwood, went to be with her Lord, January 30, 2011. A memorial service is being planned for a later date at the Church of God of Prophecy in High Point, where she was a member, with the Rev. Benjamin Duncan. Mrs. Shaffer was born November 4, 1926, in Deer Park, MD., to John W. and Amanda E. Nazelrod. She was a partner in her husband’s ministry with the Church of God of Prophecy for 41 years. She also enjoyed gardening and fishing. Surviving are her husband, Daryl of the home; daughters, Charlene Bliss and husband, Perry, Betty Barrett, and Sandra Hamilton and husband, Dexter; her grandchildren, Michele Laskus, and husband, Joe, Sara Paulin, Jared Shupe, Deanna Travis and husband, Mark, Dexter Hamilton and wife, Sasha, and Christopher Hamilton and wife, Olli; and her great-grandchildren, Brady and Robert Travis, Caden and Dawson Paulin, Steven and Amy Hamilton, and Mark Laskus.
