Andrew "Andy" Francis Jenkins

Andrew “Andy” Francis Jenkins, 76, of Breckenridge Court in Lexington, passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 2;00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve McSwain  officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.

Andy was born June 29, 1945 in New Hanover County to Johnny Andrew Jenkins and Frances Bernice McDonald Lambeth. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and especially spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Henry Lambeth; and a sister Johnette Lambeth.

Surviving is his wife Alice Jenkins of the home; his son Randy Jenkins (Punkie) of Lexington, his stepson, Dale Jones (Sharon ) of Lexington; two brothers, John William Jenkins (Tricia) of Lexington and Gary Jenkins (Martha) of Sneeds Ferry NC; three sisters, Connie Carrick of Thomasville, Joan Cope of Linwood and Tamra Mell of Greensboro; 4 grandchildren, Zachary Jenkins (Hailee), Hannah Jones, Grayson Jones, and Rick Jones (Amanda; and 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew Jenkins, Juilanna Jones and Sawyer Jones.
