Andy Steven Blankenship

Andy Steven Blankenship, age 46, of High Rock Shores Drive in Lexington, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2016 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. James Byers officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.   The burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, VA.   Mr. Blankenship was born on March 24, 1970 in Wyoming County, WV to Jerry Blankenship and Gaynell Brinkley Blankenship. He was an avid golfer, and loved Alabama football (Roll Tide Roll), four wheeling, and the Oakland Raiders. He also loved dogs, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.   Surviving are his loving wife, Jennifer McCarty Blankenship of the home, two sons; A.J. Blankenship of the home, and Cody Blankenship of Princeton, WV, one daughter, his father; Jerry Blankenship of Pineville, WV,  2 sisters, and one granddaughter.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
