Ethel Angelene Garrison Everhart, age 91, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Davidson Health and Rehabilitation in Lexington.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Greer officiating the service.
The family will receive friends one hour before the graveside at Davidson Funeral Home.
Angelene was born on September 16, 1931, in Davidson County to Claude Joseph Garrison and Inez Swicegood Garrison. She was a faithful member of First Wesleyan Church and a member of the Post 8 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren. Angelene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Dewey Bradley Everhart, Sr. who died Oct. 13, 2022, her granddaughter, Amber Everhart, her great granddaughter, Lainey McCarn.
Angelene’s memory lives on with her two sons, Dewey Bradley “Butch” Everhart, Jr (Suji), Wayne Everhart (Jennifer), both of Lexington; one granddaughter, Tanya McCarn (Travis) and 6 great-grandchildren, Logan, and Evan McCarn, Mila, Jaxon, Brayden, and Johanna Barker all of Lexington.
