Anita Mae Shillinglaw

June 10, 1922 — September 12, 2021

Mrs. Anita Mae Beck Shillinglaw, 99, formerly of Raeford Avenue, died Sunday, September 12, at Brookdale of High Point.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday September 16, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Lomax Skinner. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the graveside.

Mrs. Shillinglaw was born June 10, 1922 in Davidson County to Reuben Hill Beck and Cordia Conrad Beck. She retired from C and A Hosiery and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. She was also a former member of the Ladies Auxillary of VFW Post #3074. Her husband, Clyde Shillinglaw, her brothers, Freddie Beck and Theo Beck, and her sisters, Ava Shillinglaw ,Virgie Everhart, Mary Patterson and Margie Beck preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, C. Keith Shillinglaw of Lexington; and Richard Allan Shillinglaw of Raleigh; her daughters, Becky Lou Stiller of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cynthia Lehman of Washington State, and Martha Jo Woody of High Point; 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
