Ann Everhart Clodfelter

Ann Everhart Clodfelter, of Welcome, passed away August 2, 2021. A funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Center United Methodist Church where she was a member.  Rev. Mitch Wilson will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home on Hickory Tree Road in Midway.

Mrs. Clodfelter was born March 12, 1930, in Davidson County to Elmer R. Everhart and Ella Mae Everhart. Ann was a 1952 graduate of Catawba College and taught school for 40 years with the Davidson County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Arnold Reid Clodfelter; her parents; and two sisters, Doris Whitley and Pat Palmer.

Surviving are three daughters, Martha Mendenhall (Jeff), Reida Snyder (Wayne), and Elizabeth Baker (Greg); seven grandchildren, John Snyder (Ashley), Stephanie Tidwell (Chris), Jordan Mendenhall, Erin Puterbaugh (Jared), Meredith Rollins (Adam), William Baker (Brittany), and Anna Baker; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Snyder, Graylin Snyder, Denver Rollins, Ella Rollins, Kennedy Puterbaugh,  Ryder Tidwell, and River Tidwell.
