Ann Everhart, age 74 of 853 Greensboro Street Ext. Lexington passed away Saturday morning at Hinkle Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Moore and Rev. Dean Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Reformed Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 pm prior to the service.
Ann was born in Davidson County November 5, 1940 to James Cleo Koontz and Mary Hill Koontz. She was a former employee of Mallory Battery and also worked in the cafeteria at North Davidson Middle School. She was member of Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Leonard Earl “Butch” Everhart of the home; sons, Eric Everhart (Julie) of High Point and Brian Everhart of Lexington; grandchildren, Meg and Jake Everhart; sister, Jane Koontz Byerly (Ned) of Lexington; brother, James Cleo Koontz, Jr. of Lexington and several nieces and nephews.
