Ann Gardner Sink

Patricia Ann Gardner Sink, 66, of Calvin Sowers Road, died Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center, following a seven week illness.   The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.   Mrs. Sink was born June 13, 1944, in Gaston County, to Frank Gardner and Jewell Bunton Gardner (Moody). She was a 1966 graduate of Appalachian State University and retired teacher from Davidson County Schools. She had also worked as a computer programmer for several companies.   Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Ray “Ken” Sink of the home; sons, Kevin Lamar Sink and wife, Susan, of Raleigh, and Keith Christopher Sink and wife, Felicia, of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Caroline Sink and Will Sink; and sisters, Sue Neal and husband, Billy, of Morehead City, and Kay Monk of Panama City, Fl.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
