Ann Yountz

Ann went home to be with her Lord on 1-27-23 after a lengthy illness. Ann was born in Forsyth County to John G. Vanhoy and Dora S. Payne.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Danny Sink officiating.

Ann was married to Donald Jerry Yountz with whom she raised 5 daughters- Terrie, Kathy, Wanda, Donna, and Gerri Ann. Mrs. Yountz was of the Baptist faith.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, one grandchild, and one son in-law.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, two brothers, a sister, five daughters, three sons in-law, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Ann’s honor.
