Anna Maria Ascencion

Anna Maria Ascencion, 17, of Barrett Drive, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, from injuries in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home of Jackie Smith. Miss. Ascencion was born September 1, 1999, in Davidson County, to Lazaro Ascencion and Tabbitha Yvonne Ascencion. She was a student at Central Davidson High School and attended Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Her uncle Adrian Ascencion preceded her in death. Surviving are her parents of the home; brother, Kenneth Bradley Ascencion and wife Ashley of the home; nephew Jackson Walker Ascencion; grandmothers, Patricia Lawson and Maria de Jesus Granado; grandfathers, Kenneth Lee Smith and Jose Lazaro Ascencion; aunts, Maria Ascension (Fermin Hernandez), Consuelo Ascencion (Maricio), and Erika Ascencion; uncles, Jackie Smith (Angela), Steven Smith (Amy), Ricardo Ascencion, Antonio Granados (Linda), Jamie Granados, Ponciano Ascencion, Carlos Ascencion (Margarita), and Kevin Smith (Shannon); cousins, Antonio Granados (Tina), and Teresa Granados (Sandiego)
