Anna M. Chaplin, 79, of Corvallis, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Timberhill Place.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Nancy Krall. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Chaplin was born October 13, 1928, in Joliet, Il., to Frank and Margaret Januchowski. She married Emil Sikich and they had two children, Joseph and Cathy. Emil died in 1979. She later married Thomas Chaplin. Anna was employed as a clerk in the health care industry. She was a homemaker and gifted at many types of needlework. She lived in North Carolina until moving to Corvallis in 2005 to be near her son. She will be remembered by her friends for her dry sense of humor and for the fact that she so enjoyed being around people. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chaplin and her twin brother, Joseph Januchowski.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Cathy and Mike Tindall of North Carolina and Joe and Deb Sikich of Corvallis, Or.; numerous grandchildren; and sister, Theresa Fenoglio.
