Anna Beck Dorsey

Anna Elizabeth Beck Dorsey, 44, of Lexington passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, July 6 ^th at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ with Rev. William Sowers and Pastor Clyde Akers officiating the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday from 1:00 – 3:30pm in the church fellowship hall before the service.

Anna was born on July 9, 1974 in Davidson County to Frank Beck and Donna Hedrick Caulder.  She worked in real estate and was very active in the community. She served on the Board of Realtors, was an active member of the Davidson County Resources for the Blind and a volunteer with the Silver Valley Civitans, but to Anna, family was number one.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas Dorsey, of the home; son, Benjamin Dorsey of the home; daughter, Emma Dorsey, of the home; parents, Frank Beck (Mark) of Pompano Beach, FL and Donna Hedrick Caulder (significant other, Dudley Harrington) of Lexington; brother, Bryan Beck (Aimee) of Lexington; sister, Maria Clinger (Jason) of Lexington; a nephew and several nieces; in-laws, Robert and Ionia Dorsey of Lexington.
