Anna Myers Haynes, 90, of Perryman Road, died Wednesday, November 09, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Good Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Haynes officiating.
Mrs. Haynes was born July 8, 1921, in Davidson County, to William Sanford Myers and Margaret Brewer Myers. She was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church and a retired self employed hairdresser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Hanes who served the U.S. Marines in Vietnam; and a great-granddaughter, Madeline Hanes.
Surviving are husband, John Marvin Haynes of the home; sons, Johnny Hanes and wife, Ruth, Larry Hanes and wife, Joyce, Danny Haynes and wife, Diane, all of Lexington, and Kevin Haynes and wife, Sonya, of Coates; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and half sister, Josie Flowers of Winston-Salem.
