Anna Rebecca Swing Leonard, age 94, of Spring Arbor, Thomasville, formerly of Tussey Street passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 with family by her side.
Graveside service will be held, Friday, July 16 at 11 am at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Jim Luck officiating.
Anna was born in Davidson County on February 7 th , 1927 to Baxter Dermot Swing and Mary Frances Barbee Swing. She was retired from Burlington Mills and Stanley Furniture. She was a lifelong member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence “Bus” Leonard Sr., her son, Lawrence “Buddy” Leonard (Linda) and her two brothers, James Bryce “Jimmy” Swing, and William Lacy “Bill” Swing.
Anna is survived: by her son, Terry “Randy” Leonard (Diane) of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Angie Harrelson (Tony) of Florida, Babette “Babs” Grubbs (Steve) of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Leonard, Chris Leonard, Trent Leonard, Emilee Lusk, T.J. Harrelson Jr., Stephanie Smoot (Chris), Tiffanie Taylor (Kevin); fifteen great grandchildren, Matthew Leonard, Adam Leonard, Brandon Leonard, Jeremy Leonard, Daniel Leonard, Emira Leonard, Sam Leonard, Alex Taylor, Bailey Smoot, Brooklyn Smoot, Jaylynn Lusk, Annie Lusk, John Lusk, Eli Harrelson, and Opie Harrelson.
