Anna Berrier Samuels, 40, formerly of Lexington, died Saturday, April 12th, 2025.
She was born October 22, 1984 in Forsyth County. Anna attended Lexington City Schools and graduated from the Developmental Center. She participated in Special Olympics for several years and attended First United Methodist Church.
Anna is survived by her loving parents, Dedrick "Rick" Samuels, Jr. and Libby Hinkle Samuels; her sister, Carrie Samuels Sanders (Noah) of Burlington; her brother, Forrest Samuels (Erin) of Walla Walla, WA; her grandmother, Lib Davis Hinkle; her nieces, Savanna, Sadie, Sara, and Charlotte; her special aunts and uncles, Donna Samuels of Greensboro, Dave and Kathy Hinkle, Jim Hinkle, Lee and Ashley Hinkle of Lexington; and her cousins Matthew Hinkle and John Hinkle.
Though Anna's time on earth was too short, her impact was profound, and her memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. The family will host a visitation where friends can pay their respects on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Anna's memory.
The family extends their gratitude to all who have shown support and kindness during this difficult time.
