Annette McFarland Coleman, age 85, of Arbor Drive, Trinity passed away Wednesday night at Hinkle Hospice House.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 (Noon) Tuesday at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Clyde Akers, Rev. David Hedrick and Rev. Allen Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in Salisbury National Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
Annette was born in New Hanover County, September 30, 1927 to Lena Hewett. She was a homemaker and a member of Heavenly Sunlight Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Albert Coleman February 20, 2012 and a son Leon Joseph Harris in 2007.
Surviving are; daughter, Judy Hall and husband Ernest of Trinity; son, Michael Harris of High Point; step-son, Michael Coleman and wife Donna of Lexington; grandchildren, Tammy Allen and husband Robert of Linwood, Brandon and Jeff Tussey of Lexington; great-grandchildren; Alyssa, Hannah, Breanna, Chris, Danielle, Tori, Zachary, Preston, Nicole, Caleb and Journey; brother, Sherrill Hewett of High Point.
