Annie Blackwell

Annie Bradshaw Willis Blackwell, age 86, of old highway 29 North, Thomasville died Thursday in Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Roseboro City Cemetery in Roseboro with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Annie was born in Sampson County, December 29, 1920 to Homer A. Bradshaw and Lessie Mae Fisher Bradshaw. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Labron Martin Willis in 1966 and Ralph Blackwell in 1997 and a son Martin Ray Willis, also by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Surviving are: Son; James Blackwell of Lexington, Daughters; Edna Vestal and Michelle Newland both of Lexington, 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at the home.
