Annie Gregg (Jean) Bradley, 86, died suddenly at North Carolina Baptist Hospital after a sudden illness on April 30.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, May 4, 2015 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. Burial will follow.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradley was born December 15, 1928 in Davidson County to Thomas Vinnie Gregg and Annie Rudisill Gregg the oldest of four children. She attended Piedmont Bible College after graduation from Lexington Senior High School and in 1950 she married Duon (Duke) Grant Bradley. She was a craftsman and instructor favoring basketry and decoupage and a lifelong resident of the Erlanger community in Lexington. Outside of her family her entire life was dedicated to her belief in the Lord. She was a member of the Erlanger Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband, Duon (Duke) Grant Bradley, three brothers, Thomas Fletcher Gregg, Donald Franklin Gregg and James Harold Gregg.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Bradley, Timothy Bradley and wife , Adena; both of Lexington; a granddaughter, Laura Ann of Dallas, Texas and a grandson, Robert Gregg of Lexington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Methodist Church, P.O. Box 410, Lexington, NC 27299. She also expresses that in lieu of anything for her to do the work of the Lord and help a needing neighbor.
