Annie Mary Essick Craver

Annie Mary Essick Craver 90 of Reedy Creek Road, Lexington passed away Saturday September 19, 2009 at Hinkle Hospice Home. A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ken Barnette and Rev. Jane Auman. Burial will follow at Reedy Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Craver was born February 22, 1919 in Davidson County to Davidson Essick and Susan Phelps Essick. She was a retired custodian at Arcadia School and a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Odell (Jake) Craver, her sons: Robert Craver and Fred Allen Craver and her brothers and sisters: Edgar, Allen and Robert Essick and Iona Lilliard, Mabel Makos and Ella Essick. Surviving are daughters: Barbara Burleson, Debbie Grove and husband Larry and Sharon Tuttle all of Lexington. Nine grandchildren: Lynette Craver, Kelly Craver, Chris Craver, Jeremy Grove, Shannon Grove, Shawn Whitman, Stephanie Holden, Sabrina Runyon and Stacy Hedrick. Eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of a grandson 410 Vineyard Lane, Lexington.
