Annie Todd Hayes

Annie Todd Hayes, age 77 of Brian Center, formerly of Ford Street Lexington passed away Wednesday morning (May 13, 2015) at Lexington Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday (May 16, 2015) at Pilgrim Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday night and at other times at the home of son Vernon Hayes, 703 Adams Street. Annie was born May 14, 1937 in Columbus County, NC to Leslie and Frances Strickland Todd. She was a member of Pilgrim Free Will Baptist Church and a retired employee of Henry Link Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronnie Clyde Hayes in 2011, daughter, Janice Bivens; son, Lloyd Dean Hayes and grandson, David Bruce Bivens and brothers, Jim, Dalmer, Thurman and Homer Todd. Surviving are sons, Darian Hayes, Sr. (Loretta), Ronnie Dale Hayes (Gail), and Vernon Hayes all of Lexington, Kenny Hayes (Pamela) of Thomasville, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchild.
