Annie Lee Miller

Annie Lee White Miller 92 of Winston-Salem went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, February 15, 2017.  She was born in Forsyth County to the late Arthur White and Ida Andrews.  In 1939 she married Sam P. Miller.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Jerry, Ricky and Dale Miller; a daughter, Annette Sink; two sisters, Mildred Balfour and Elizabeth McKay. Surviving are her sons, David (Sue) and Donald (Malinda) and a daughter Joyce Norman; a daughter-in-law Una Miller; stepbrother Steve Wright (Opal).  She has 21 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great- grandchildren.  Annie was a precious Christian mother and grandmother and a prayer warrior for her family. A celebration of her life will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, 858 Hickory Tree Rd., Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Jim Bush officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Midway. A special thank you to Liberty Hospice staff for their care given to our mother and staff at The Oaks Nursing Center. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, Missions Funds, 3305 Peter’s Creek Pkwy., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 and Joy Church International, 10085 Lebanon Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN  37122. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family. .
