Annie Little

Mrs. Annie Ruth Smith Little, age 83 of Jerusalem Road, Lexington, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5 at Lexington Medical Center after an illness of 2 months. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 8 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Gene Little and Mr. Leverne Little officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM TO 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Jerusalem Road. Mr. Smith was born in Brunswick County on February 4, 1928 to the late Elton Dunbar Smith and Shelly Ludlum Smith. She was a retired from Young Hinkle Furniture and was a member of Silver Valley Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Everett Leon Little and a brother Jesse Harold Smith. Surviving are five sons, Gary Little, Leon Leverne Little and wife Brenda, Rev. Gene Little and wife Carol, Steve Little and wife Donna, Joseph Little and wife Karen; tow daughters, Eula Ann Little Gabard and husband Gary and Frances Little Bullins and husband Robert all of Lexington. 23 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a brother Lester Smith and wife Janice of Libertyville, Il and sister Pauline Leonard of Lexington.
