Annie "Lois" Nifong

Annie “Lois” Nifong, 90 of Winston-Salem, was called to her eternal home on February 20, 2025. She was born in Davidson County, NC on October 10, 1934, to Russell Daniel Nifong and Mattie Ratledge Nifong. As a lifelong resident of Midway, Lois worked until retirement at AT&T (Nokia). Her most enjoyable time was spent working in her yard where she could be found almost daily.

She is survived by a brother, Arthur Nifong, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Zimmerman Nifong, both of Winston- Salem as well as four nieces, Cheryl Craver, Danna Huneycutt, Jan Malloy, Rhonda Summer, and five nephews, Ronald Nifong, Jimmy Leonard, Danny Leonard, Eddie Leonard, and Art Nifong. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Russell Nifong, and Harold Nifong, sisters, Fairene Fox and Thelma Leonard, nephews Michael “Mike” Fox, and Randy Nifong and niece Myra Thomason.

A graveside service will be held at Faith Church March 10th, 2025 at 11 AM.
