Annie Shoemaker Parks

Annie Shoemaker Lambe Parks, age 84 of South NC Highway 8, Lexington passed away Sunday morning (March 13, 2011) at Hinkle Hospice House.  Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday (March 16, 2011) at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Shoaf officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday.   Annie was born in Rowan County, August 25, 1926 to Henry Arthur Shoemaker and Annie Amanda Atwell Shoemaker.  She was a member of Psalm 91 Church and a retired employee of PPG.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Everette Eugene “Pete”  Lambe and Charles Wayne Lambe; one sister Inez Price; four brothers, Frank, Kelly, Howard and Lester Shoemaker.   Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Ann Lambe Bean and husband Billy of Southmont; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Lambe of Southmont; two brothers, Clifford Shoemaker of Cleveland and Billy Shoemaker of Little Washington, NC.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
