Annie Gwynn Williamson

Annie Gwynn Williamson, age 90, of Carolina House, passed away Monday January 9, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating.  Burial will follow.    There will be no public visitation.   Annie was born in Wilkes County, NC July 4, 1921 to John Holloway and Mattie Dorcas Lackey  Holloway. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a resident of Winston Salem before moving to Lexington 6 years ago to live at Carolina House.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Mack Gwynn and Emory Williamson; her three sons, Martin, Leon and Donnie Gwynn.   Surviving are; five grandchildren, Teresa Caraway, Keith Gwynn, Tracie Pendleton, Lee Ellis and Brian Gwynn; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
