Anthony Ray Blackburn

Anthony Ray Blackburn, age 50 of Abbotts Creek Nursing Care, passed away Friday (July 23, 2010) at Abbotts Creek.  Graveside service will be 11:00 am Friday (July 30, 2010) at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Durant Cunningham officiating.   There will be no formal visitation.   Anthony was born in Welch, West Virginia September 15, 1959 to Perry Blackburn, Jr and Irene Taylor Blackburn.  He worked in as a Metal Fabricator.   Surviving are: six daughters; Melissa Childers and husband David of Lexington, Tammy Hendricks and husband Mark of Gilbert, W. VA, Virginia Day and husband Daniel of Oklahoma City, OK, Nicole Blackburn, Reba Blackburn and Brittney Blackburn all of Shawnee, OK; one son, Calvin Blackburn and wife Barb of Rockhouse, W. VA; eight grandchildren; father and step-mother, Perry and Hilda Blackburn of Leland, NC; three sisters, Ruby Penley of Tazewell, VA, Mary Mullins of Brenton, W.
