Anthony Bernard Evans, 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Lexington, North Carolina, on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Anthony was born on January 11, 1968, in Davidson County, NC to Harold Lee Evans and Virginia Louise Hogan Evans.  He spent his professional life as a truck driver for Pam Trucking and was of the Christian faith.

Anthony is survived by his loving mother, Virginia Evans, his brother, Todd Evans (Teri), and his sister, Tamara Evans Craven, nieces Julia Craven and Amani Evans, as well as cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lee Evans, Sr., whose loving memory he now joins.

A memorial service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Pastor Tim Everhart will officiate the service, which will honor the life and love Anthony shared with those around him. Following the service, a visitation will take place, providing an opportunity for everyone to share stories and memories of Anthony's extraordinary kindness and spirit.

Arrangements for Anthony’s memorial have been entrusted to Davidson Funeral Home, where care and compassion have been extended to his family during this difficult time.

Anthony Bernard Evans will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
