Anthony "Tony" Keith Barnes

Anthony Keith “Tony” Barnes, 52, of Goat Drive, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at his home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Joe Rose and Herman Powell officiating. Burial will be in Floral Gardens with a reception following at 700 West Parkway, High Point. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home. Mr. Barnes was born February 22, 1963, in Guilford County, to Katherine Marie Barnes Harmon. He was a machine operator for Kemco and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Harmon; and his step-father, Gene S. Harmon. Surviving are his mother, Katherine Harmon of the home; father, Howard Douglas Dawson of Wallburg; half-sister, Angela Roberts of Welcome; and step-sister, Anna Hadin of Virginia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
